Is there someone I can talk to about legislation I support?

 

I am calling about the effort to amend the existing expungement law so that it is more accessible to young people in Massachusetts.  

​

Criminal records stay with people forever and prevent many from getting good jobs and a good education. They also have a very negative impact on mental health and they particularly hurt communities of color. 

​

I know that Senator Creem and Representatives Decker and Khan have sponsored legislation to do this and I'd really appreciate your support too - especially now as the State House is focusing on racial justice legislation.

​

Will you reach out to leadership to let them know you support our call to make the expungement law more accessible before the July 31st deadline?
